A screening mammogram is an x-ray exam of the breasts in a woman who has no symptoms. The goal of a screening mammogram is to find cancer when it is too small to be felt by a woman or her doctor. A screening mammogram is suggested annually for women age 40 and older.
Peachtree Women’s Clinic is pleased to offer "state of the art" mammography screening in 3-D (Digital Breast Tomosynthesis or DBT) which is an extension of digital mammography demonstrating the layers of the breast tissue.
Our studies are interpreted by radiologists who are board certified in breast imaging.
For your convenience, this service is offered at 2 of our locations: the Northside office and our Cumming location.
